We’re very proud of studio 2.
It’s what we thought of when we started this whole venture. Where would WE like to record a podcast? Somewhere that looks good, feels right and is flexible to our or anyone else’s needs. It’s the sort of place you can have a really good discussion. A decent debate. Quality chat, if you like that sort of thing.
So when we set up Yorkshire Podcast Studios, this was what we wanted to get right first and we think we’ve achieved that.
It can handle a big podcast. There are six microphone positions in total, but you don’t have to use them all. The space is just as cosy for two people and you can make it even cosier if you like with our range of lighting. Just try not to get too comfy, dim the lights and nod off mid-pod.
Our Studios are all acoustically treated to create the perfect recording environment. With fully controllable LED lights, you can create the mood you want when recording your content.
You can just hire it for one person. Make your own one-person podcast here or record an audio book. It’s a great place to use to get connected to another podcast if you need high quality connection speeds that make your home video calls far too wobbly.
Maybe you just don’t like your kitchen being on screen behind you, or that bookshelf that really isn’t straight anymore.
It’s also an ideal place for a voiceover recording too. In fact, any high-quality recording you require really, we can help you out.
Featuring a Zoom PodTrak P8 & a 6-mic-mixer, all the faders and cables are colour coordinated to make hosting a 6-person broadcast easy. This studio uses our bespoke Dante Audio Network.
All our mics are the brand new Rode Podmics and you’ll be listening through Sony Headphones to give you the best possible sound.
If you want to go a step further you can make a fully visual podcast. Full NDI cameras have been installed, run from a high-end VMix Machine or local switching with Blackmagic's ATEM Switchers for a full visual podcast if your project requires it. You own branding can be introduced into the studio and on the monitors to complete the theme.
Our Studio infrastructure is based around Dante Audio. That gives us infinite possibilities of how we route, send and record audio. All our software is industry standard to give you the best recording workflow. From Vmix for all out visual work, to the full Adobe Suite of software.
